Had one helluva day! Drained. Never been to so many people's houses in a day before, eye-opener. At least for me it is, rather rare since D is the oldest in the fam & the rest of my relatives are either in our neighboring country or at the other side of the globe so people normally drop by to bainian & I just stay home rot & receive angbaos haha!

Most importantly ofcos wana thank Mr Siau for bringing me along. Awkward as it can be, ta-dang! Plus we totally saved up more than we expected to this CNY :D

Ok so after almost half a day of house-visiting we went to watch Journey 2 the Mysterious Island! So nice! Love sci-fi movies haha.. Felt so old amongst all of Mr Siau's cousins. Already at the age whereby relatives start asking you when you gona get married, after all I am the youngest in my whole 3-sided family. I bet my dad can't wait to marry me off -.-

I got myself a full-time job.
I made new friends - colleagues.

I attended my brother's wedding in Singapore
I attended my brother's wedding in Hong Kong
I went to Hong Kong again!
I got my citizenship(just to clarify, I am born & made in Singapore).
I got my pink IC.
I went to Taiwan!
I attended my first service night.
I made my first drive-in trip down to JB with friends - colleagues.
I attended my first dinner & dance.
I got into my first car accident.
I attended my first colleague's wedding.
I went Genting & KL after almost 6-7years of avoiding entering Malaysia.
I got braces on.
I got my first haircut after almost 400days.
I enrolled in uni and decided to get my degree.
I met Mr Siau.
I started saving money unknowingly for the first time in my life.

A year ago, today, I just got back from an awesome work x shopping trip from BKK w a special someone.
A year later, today, I am looking back at our photos reminiscing backdating to year 2006.
I guess change is only constant, along the way I've picked up new friends, left behind old ones who eventually caught up with me, not forgetting the ones who paced on with me. Either way I believe as long as we are meant to be bffs, we will be.

There are many things I thought that won't change a year ago but it eventually did a year later. I keep asking myself why did things change, why change, for what. Then I realize, maybe things didn't change, maybe I did.

I guess I did. Time to move on...

On 2 days of family leave on one of the busiest days in banks! Almost every branch OT for ytd & seemingly so today. Love my branch for letting me off teehee.. Sent Mr Siau to work this morning before heading straight to Robinson branch for lunch w my 师姐 & 师母, been damn long since we last catch up! After which I made an hr drive from Shenton Way to Yishun -.- lost my way max. That's for not wanting to use the GPS -.- to Partyworld w Lynn! Silly boy just got his hair cut + hair dye to prep for reservice. Damn kolian. But I kinda like this hair, short & neat. It's always annoying when he takes longer to prepare than me when we are going out(he normally blows his hair for like 15-20mins whereas I do NOTHING to my hair).

I know it ain't gona be easy with skw. There are so much more he don't know about me & vice versa. Nonetheless, we will try & make it there. I won't guarantee perfection but at least we will make it there, one day.

Linting's & Raymond's Wedding!

Linting is my colleague & Raymond was my bro's colleague haha so we were actually supposed to attend the same wedding but bro flew to HK on that very day so the little sis had to +++ the angbao! Spent last night throwing ice at my boss w jojo @ Shanghai Dolly(EPIC SCENE). My first time there, think I pissed iz off cos I rather go listen to live band sing chi songs than to Zouk VIP style w him. Mixture of JP, JW & BB branch colls to celebrate BB BM's bday! One helluva night. Booze was craaaaaaaazy... Music was ALRIGHT but what really disturbed me was the people there don't really like to dance. WHY?!

So I was supposed to look after jojo tt weakling & also Mr Siau asked her to look after me but we both ended up....

Boss made arrangements, everyone took so good care of me & jojo! Special thanks to my SA Yiting <3 & ofcos awesome Jerry. Love my branch really. In the end Mr Siau woke up, came down personally to send me home & he rushed off to work this morning.

Got a hair cut after 1yr+3months. Last haircut was at Shunji Matsuo on 26/08/10, Iz ahpa's birthday gift for me.

Just layered them, can't handle shortness shock.

Life's pretty much revolving around OCBC & Vanguard. Satisfying! Survived Service Night as Mulan, next up, Red Hot Dinner & Dance! Blink of an eye, 6 months in OCBC, promoted & colleagues doting me still as much :) received flowers & love & concern & support throughout the whole journey for my first service night, I had SO MUCH FUN! Not to mention the number of awesome friends I've made along the way.

Just a couple of updates, went in JB w bff, liting, kw & xy. My group of friends cannot get anymore chapalang sia lol. Had awesome abalone noodles-loklok-ji jing tian ji blah blah all the good food you get it, thing is, I couldn't enjoy, AT ALL. Why:

Didn't take me more than 12hrs to realize what a big mistake it was to fix my teeth :( I love meat too much to give up chewing it till it's juiceless. SIGH. 30th, braces on. It's already hurting like a bitch.

Emo cos they canceled the match this morning(stupid rain!). But boy alrdy woke me up & he's dead aslp now while I'm wide awake after a bad night's sleep. Ya try slping w your bf constantly moving ard w the sounds of numerous soccer matches yadayada~ not tt I'm complaining know, afterall he was the biggest winner last night. Which is also why I requested for western brunch later. Very much craving for Egg Benedict!

Woke up w butterflies in my stomach thanks to the photoshoot later at 2pm. I just don't feel good about it. Nervous.. Also I hate over-dolling up especially not in the day -.- trust me my make-up is strictly - for the night.

Lastly, I miss a lot of pp! Mainly rer & her bf cos they are at bkk since Friday, coming back tmr so it's not so bad. Iz who is now at wallaby, attached & not updating me on who the f is my new mother(I will consider forgiving u if u bring me back a baby kangaroo) countdown till he's back: 15days. Augustine who's at Perth & I have no idea when he'll be back to visit :/ & also my Dakor who is still at Azerbaijan & won't be back till xmas/newyear. Fuuuuuuu...

Oh I made risotto for the boyf last night as requested & me being me, impatient & not wanting to oil my hair, ended up finishing the dish too early & we had hard rice for dinner. Sorry b. Will make up to u again w v awesome aglio olio ok!

Never imagined myself being committed to the guys again(like back to secondary school HYFC). So anyway, on 28th August 2011 the guys told me tt my bday present will be delayed for a couple of weeks. I totally forgot about it until today......

Blogging frm the new blogger iPhone app on my bed on a Friday morning. Having the worst cramps ever ever since I started work 5months ago. No work today, off day tomorrow. So it's a long bloody weekend for me!

Had a dinner date w iz pa on thurs & had a dinner date w S last night after crashing her lecture at sim, hen awesome o. Life feels complete again :> speaking of which I attended my interview ytd for unisim Jan 2012 intake & hi I'm officially a student of Unisim Bsc business.

Oh & it's boy's off day today, shall run some errands after the cramps go away, if they ever do. Someone pls remind me to apply for my housing loan, counting down 11 days to units selection day. I have many pp telling me they think it's too early for me to do all these but really, early is better than late. Settling all these now ensures tt I don't have to panic to look and pay more for 2nd hand houses 3-4yrs down the road.

Both my Sony & Apple laptops have failed me & I'm too lazy to bother bringing them for servicing sooooooo gona get a new CPU instead! In pink as B promised :> I had a peaceful & blissful bday w all my awesome friends. Unkowingly, August went by, September is here. Date for unit selection is nearing, B is removing his braces soon(gona miss his vampire tooth!) but nw sure shuai ge max hehe.

Today marks my 3rd month in Jurong West branch & also 4th month in ocbc(time flies!). Work has been good, our little family have extended w more understudies & I'm really super proud & happy to be part of this wonderful family :>

Really even though I have the time to blog I'm just so lazy to start on anything at all! So I guess I'm just gona leave this little space as it is for now, short updates and such.

I just signed myself up for another 3yrs of torture -.- I was contemplating on taking my choice of programme or my company choice of programme. Decided on the latter, looks like I'm gona be stuck in the banking industry for a helluva long time. I know it might sound boring(or not ;)) but nontheless, I'm pretty sure I won't regret my payroll 3yrs later. Either way, majority of the successful business pp in sgp started/ended in banking, not bluffing, go ask. Either tt, or it's family business.

I had quite a hard time looking for all the documents for the application, usually enrollment stuffs are done solely by dad, made me realize how reliant I have been on him for the past 21+1yrs of my life. I've really grown up -inserts tearing face- & now tt D have half-retired & apparently a v happy retired man, I'm on my own now!

I have came to realize after stepping into adulthood tt a lot of things in life, you don't get to choose. You do when you are young, you get to choose and most of the time you get what u want but as you grow older, you will realize there are a lot more pp tryna get what you want to achieve and stepping into this society is just like racing against time.

Stepping stone 1.
I spent 2 months tryna find a suitable permanent full-time job. I lost count on the number of resumes I sent out to get my "dream" job. Then I realize, you don't get your dream job with just a poly cert and no working experience, you gotta earn it. Took me almost 2 months to realize that before I finally gave in and got referred into OCBC as advised from my brother. Best decision ever. Ever since I joined OCBC I have been upgrading myself everyday at work. Good growing environment. First step towards my goal in life. Stable income + cpf job-checked.

Stepping stone 2.
Applying for a flat. I have to take into account how much this decision is gona cost me, especially when we have a car to feed at the same time. But I believe all these decisions were not made based on "wants" nor is it based on "everyone has it I want it too", I think it's based on whether you have the ability to plan out your finances to achieve what everyone else wants to achieve in this life. A car, a house, a family. We did & so we went for it. This is the best time to start with both our income & cpf stabled and just the right amount at the right time for the grant. Things might not be the same if we waited. Nonetheless, second step up towards my goal in life. Affordable house-checked(half).

Stepping stone 3.
The one I dread the most, Degree. You all really got no idea how much I HATE & DREAD studying. But ever since I joined the banking industry, I realize the importance of getting a degree. So after almost 1-2months of consideration and advice from the seniors, I decided to go for it. Just gona "suffer" for 3yrs, after tt things will be much much much more easier for me. Silly me who used to think I can survive out here without a degree. There, finally applied for it today, hopefully I get it & then good bye to freedom starting from 2012. Moving up on education-checked(half).

It's August, I'm gona turn 22 in 10days. Let's hope I can catch up with the society.

Had an enjoyable get-away, back w no apparels but got myself 5 pairs of wedges of which I will never wear -.- really.

This life is good, not completed yet but good for now. Tmr application for another phase of my life. Really hope I can cope w work, sch, friends & family :/ I'm not a bad multi-tasker, not a good one either.

It's only been 2days & I'm missing the boy like mad :( but he always tells me I can't always be dependent on him so I gotta be independent especially on his looooong sailing trips. So yea took a day off ytd & spent it w Lynn walking around, went to baibai yada yada~ Today met Neoneo for dinns after work(satisfied a bit of my steamboat crave, had mini hotpot) & then went hm & camped.

Hooked to the Taiwan drama! DAMN NICE! But then again, which sweet idol drama isn't? I'm sucha wuss! Just love spending my free time like this.. NUA.

Hopefully jo ends earlier tmr so we can have steamboat dinns at opp Chinese Garden! Have yet to try the steamboat there! So awesome to have your bff work at a branch 3 mrt stops away from you branch righttttttt.

Went to pump petrol full tank for D. Filial much!(ex hor -.-) awesome & simple night. Talked about marriage, kids, future.. Just can't wait!!!

Day3 was a short day cos it was bro's wedding dinner night. Met up w my parents, erge & grace jie & had like the most freaking amazing dimsum in the morning at Jordan(near our hotel).

I love us looking stupid together, ok it's just me.

My brother is so me, ikr.

It's like a MUST to wash the utensils before use with the pot of tea they provide. Same with cafes, they will pass you a cuppa tea before they serve your food, it's actually for washing of utensils. NOT FOR DRINKING!

Ya order liddat one so if you don't know chinese, can go die.

Whole family together in a foreign country. How rare!

Next stop is where I went crazy, for 2days.

My awesome ersao brought me there, w her left arm still injured & my awesome brother aka best-husband-ever accompanied us throughout the whole shopping trip. He went to buy mango muachee & bird's nest from HK's famous dessert shop: 许留山(Xu liu san), carried EVERY of my ersao's shopping loots & waited patiently outside every shop for us while we shopped. Seriously, best brother-husband-son EVER. B u see this? Learn from my bro hor :P

Ok pp kept asking me where I shopped at, my ersao brought me here & I'm telling you, this is even better than Platinum Mall..... Ok perhaps they are on par but ANYWAY it's 花園街(Fa Yuen Street), direct translate is flower garden street -.- it's at Mongkok, go figure.
Each average piece of clothing is approx SGD8-15 & the quality are really good! Many from the famous Hong Kong sprees you see online. They have a wide range of designs and not many shops sell the same thing like PM. It's just, awesome.
What's even better is just around the corner, is the famous Jing Hua Restaurant/Cafe where they sell bo luo bao w butter.........

We went back on the last day for our last meal in HK(airport food not counted) & we took photo w the boss of the restaurant! Will elaborate more on the next post!
So after shopping & lunch we cabbed back to our hotel to prepare for the big night! Not much photos, I didn't bring my camera along. All taken with big bro's DSLR plus his new flash light.

Test shot in the hotel! B looked like a salesperson & I look like I'm about to have a stroke. Anw I think B happy cos that was the day I officially gave him my half-dead iPhone3GS LOL!

They held their wedding dinner at one of the restaurants located at the top of The One shopping centre(v famous if you shop branded in HK). At first I expected like some restaurant with hkees shouting all over the place + mahjong but it was nothing like that! The view was gorgeous, it was even better at night.

I know my eye-bags are hopeless. In case you're wondering I got my maxi dress from Kiss Jane(Cityhall) at $34 & my necklace from Cityplaza at $22. If you have seen my toga bodycon dress I wore for my bro's wedding dinner in Singapore, that only cost me $16 from Cityplaza. I'M SUCHA CHEAPSKATE HAHAHA. Anw if you need a dress to wear for formal occasions & is as cheapskate as me pls buy from me cos I probably will never wear it again.

Like one of the best nights of my life. Singapore is SO boring. Meh. Yup so that ended my day 3 in HK :D

Had Din Tai Fung for lunch w parents at Paragon. Jol helped pick up my uniform at Shaw(thanks babe!) so that's one to-do down & a lot more to go, topping the list: pack my room. Followed by: repair my MacBook, can feel my Vaio dying.

Work hasn't been progressive cos right after deployment I was away for a week, when I'm back I got posted to another branch wef this Friday & this week I'm on mc for 3days -.- all my girlies are alrdy way ahead of me! Gotta buck up!

I never chao keng ok, I was happily preparing for work on Monday morning when I looked into the mirror I got a shock my whole left eye was bloody red! It wasn't swollen or anything just RED, like for nth, RED. Went to company's docs & was given straight 2days mc, he said it'll only heal in a week so if it's still red, must go back for mc again cos EYE RED, CFS LINE CANNOT WORK ONE. So mafan I was looking forward to my last week in Robinson :(

On a brighter note, I will be making a trip down to ICA to get my pink ic tmr! Omg so excited ikr f all of y'all who once laughed at my blue ic(& my fat face), now I can has chio ic photo for another 8yrs, I can laugh at you all, you all can't laugh back. WHO'S THE FAT ONE NOW EH! Next thing I need to change is the photo on my staff pass -.- serious case cmi.

Family wise, thing's been quiet ever since bro's wedding. Big bro's flown back to Azebaijan and won't be back till December'11. Second bro's officially moved in to the Pinnacle@Duxton w his wife & his room is officially converted to D's study rm x future-photo studio. Other than that, nothing's changed much :)

As for friends, 自己懂就好. Met up w rer ytd for lunch & spent the afternoon at her hse chit-chatting, ~~gossiping~~(I think we really cut-down a lot on this alrdy). More on updates, plans & decisions. She showed me her future home & I'm SO happy for her la! You lucky TPE exit is your house alrdy <.< in future my petrol you pay k. Oh oh & I'm so happy tt Iz ahpa gave me a pair of tics to NDP CR3! HE REMEMBERED, touched ok :) I haven't been to NDP since erm the pri sch excursion trip. REALLY.

& lastly, love wise, need I say more? Thanks again for everything bb! I wana constantly thank you so that I will not take things for granted & take advantage of you/step over your head. So, can I have the car nxt week? HEHEHE. Drive to work also beside your house woooorrrtttt.

We woke up late but still considered early, had breakie at a nearby cafe Macy's for breakfast. I'm missing the food there already!

After breakie, we took the mtr down to Admiralty.

Without wasting anymore time we took the cable car to the other side of Ocean Park first!

Wanted to queue for the new water ride but the sun was so horrible we headed back early.

Took the express train, damn fast.

Ended the day at Ocean Park! The rides are soso lor but all the exhibitions are worth going!

Managed to find my iPhone4 White at one of the Fortress(their Harvey Norman/Courts). Much cheaper compared to Singapore, SO HAPPY! Cos all the other electronic stores tt are not charging over-priced are all sold out!

The leather cover costs like SGD98 in Sgp, got it for SGD50+ at hk.

Haven't felt this efficient in months! Ever since I started working, blogging has been more like a chore than a hobby :( Sooooo I'm back w HK day 1! (I know I haven't blogged about the March HK trip w b, photos just uploaded on fb!).

Everything was in a crazy rush. After bro's wedding dinner which ended at 11.30pm or so, we rushed over to god-bro's house to surprise god-bro-in-law's for birthday & got to bond w my god-parents side of the family :) I rmb b asking me: "你到底有几个kaiyeh & kaima?"

Just for laughs. The kids over at my god-parent's side seriously cute until CANNOT.

So we only managed to return home(I drove, big bro was red like a lobster) at 1ish. After which I bathed like 2-3times to get all the hair spray outta my hair, went to bed w wet hair & woke up at 3ish. LATE! But still.. we made it!

I forgot to print my flight receipt, can u believe how busy I was!

After 4 very scary hours, apparently it was a cloudy day, turbulence like free one.

I went there w b, dage & dasao first.

I just came back from HK this morning at 1am, had the BEST TRIP OF MY LIFE. Not sure when will the time come again for all 8 in my family to be in one country other than Singapore. My brother's weddings(both sgp & hk) was a huge success.

This morning I went to surrender my PR status & WEF from July, I'll officially be a true blue BORN IN SINGAPORE Singaporean! & also, I got posted to another branch WEF July & it will be like back to sec sch days! Gona have more time to meet B & less traveling time. Life is so awesome! This year can't get any better!

I will find time to blog soon. Happy xinfinity. Got my iPhone4 White, iPad2 White & my first/second branded in HK! & I bought like 3 months of apparels for less than SGD300 in HK! I LITERALLY HYPERVENTILATED IN 2 OF THE LARGEST H&M IN CENTRAL & MONGKOK. I LOVE HONG KONG! Given a choice I would definitely go back there(plus the fooooood omg).

Lastly, family dinner tonight. All 8 of us. Before big bro flies back to Azerbaijan. Loving life as it is.

Life is so busy and packed now I hardly have time even for myself! Managed to squeeze in some time to meet up w some close friends just to catch up, just a mere 2hrs & even though I'm exhausted, I really don't mind at all. Because they are worth it.

Many friends birthday approaching. Pocket burning a bigger hole now tt I'm a full-timer. Not to mention hk trip right next week! Somehow everything came in a rush, my job, applying for uni(yup u heard me right), bro's wedding, hk trip, applying for sgp citizenship.

Like dropping an awesome bomb right in my face. Life is progressing rather well I must say.

I love my colleagues, they are gems who easily replaced and took a place in my heart :) ofcos & my boy for being so awesome fetching me home frm work whenever he's free, being so supportive and helpful. Thank you b, I mean it.

I'm finally ready to admit that I am officially aging and my body, mind & soul is no longer capable of doing what I do best in the past, ton overnight. Impromptu stay over at nic's last night, so while the guys(+ jer) mahjong & fifa, I slept from 12-2am, woke up cos I was hungry, ordered mac, had mac, went back to sleep at 5-7am before heading home to change & then out again for Vanguard's weekly soccer match which was OBVIOUSLY canceled cos..

Sky so dark play simi soccer? -.- so the guys decided to head over to the cage at kallang. The last time I was there was 3yrs ago for floorball lor omg damn miss. So we ended everything at 12pm, reached home at 1pm, had lunch till 2pm & BAM b & I fell dead aslp till D woke us up for dinner(Ichiban Sushi AGAIN, what's new?).

Life is good anyway I mean seriously.

Preparing to head to bed soon, just received the 3rd call from bb tonight, haven't heard from him for almost 4days! He'll be back tmr evening, can't wait to see him :)

Had a little shopping spree w colleagues just now. I'm really gona miss laughing my ass off with them, inside jokes, bickering and teasing each other on whatsapp etc. training days :( our last 5days together in the training centre after which we'll officially be deployed to our respective branches.

Feeling is like, being separated from your first year class in poly. Right right?

I'm hoping that the next batch will join us for the OBS camp(sihui, jo & cherie!) :D I'm REALLY looking forward to it now, slumber party at Leeshen's! Contemplating on baking the night through or watching scary movies on her hugeass tv. Gona be helluva fun & Imma be so exhausted cos I'll be heading straight to ls's after touching down sgp from my 5days hk trip.

I've really reached a whole new level of exhaustion. I had a horrible 2hrs bus ride home during peak hour from raffles back to panjang. Had a late dinner w jo(sry babe) & then still plucked up strength to meet & have a chat over at starbucks w kh. THEN still went to find my caramel gang near my hse. Reached home at almost 12mn, & I had 3 cert tests TODAY! Crazy or what. But I still pulled through.

CAN'T WAIT FOR FACIAL W LYNN THIS SAT & singing w my sexy bitches(colleagues) next monday. Really not easy to find pp to click with, especially colleagues, from bank somemore you know.

Let's not recap too much on how I spent my days in Ngee Ann Poly, just one word: Awesome. I did at some point of time ever regretted entering poly, even till the extent of quitting sch, but trust me guys. Lecturers in NP are out to PASS you, not FAIL you. I mark my words. Moving on to friends, I have heard how political it was over at the business side, friends competing among friends etc. But in EE, life is just helping each other up the ladder. Just like that, it's over. I am finally, an official fresh graduate x working adult.

Currently studying permanently in the University of Society -.-

I'm not gona complain either cos life in OCBC has been awesome for me so far.

Today on M's birthday, I wish Xinyi flying rainbow lucks for her last paper(calculus?) & success for her & kar's blogshop. Iz ahpa to get more tics for me for NDP so I can proudly see him in No.1 & some tailored uniform for the parade. Neoneo to pls pass his TP for bike this end month. Lynn to solve her family problems peacefully. My ersao a speedy recovery after today's ops. Sherman a full recovery for his thumb that got drilled by the drill bit -.- . Jo to enjoy her last 13days of freedom, WELCOME TO OCBC BITCH. Lucky her got to be in the same batch as Cherie. I'M #FOREVERALONE. But it's ok I MAJOR LOVE MY JOB. Been busy with work, running to & fro from the hospital to home & tryna find time for bb & friends. If you don't alrdy know my ersao got admitted to the hospital :( but she'll be fine, very very soon :) bless her the brave bride-to-be!

Anw life's been peaceful & smooth. So ya every time I look up at the driver/passenger beside me, I feel like the luckiest girl on earth. And every time a love songs comes on the radio I will tell him: I wana sing this to you on our wedding day. So I'm like gona hold a concert on my wedding day? :x

I love my family, I love my boyf, I love my dog, I love my friends, I love my job.
What more can I ask for?
